Frequently Asked Questions

DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a process where designs are printed onto a special film using specialized water-based inks. After printing, a hot melt adhesive is applied to the film, allowing the design to be transferred onto a variety of surfaces, such as fabrics and garments. This method produces vibrant colors and fine details, making it popular for custom apparel and other items. DTF printing is known for its versatility, durability, and ability to work with different types of materials.

DTF printing is versatile and can be used on a variety of materials, including:

  • Fabrics: Cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, and other synthetic materials
  • Leather: Both genuine and faux leather
  • Hard surfaces: Ceramics, wood, and some plastics

This adaptability makes DTF an excellent choice for custom apparel, promotional items, and a wide range of creative projects!

When designing your gang sheet, make sure to create your designs in graphic software and keep them true to size. This will help you easily determine how many different designs can fit on one sheet. Remember to leave a 0.25″ spacing between designs for cutting, ensuring a clean and precise transfer. Happy designing!

We offer a layout service for $20.00. This can help ensure your designs fit perfectly on the gang sheet and maximize the use of space. Let us know if you’re interested!
